Gale Fry, 70

Gale E. Fry, 70, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:06 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at Auglaize Acres.
He was born July 9, 1941, the son of Iola (Cox) and Rex Fry, who preceded him in death. He was married to Betty Fry and she preceded her in death.
Surviving are a sister, Penny (Kelley) McGlinch, of New Bremen; six step-children, Robin (Ralph) Nelms, Bill (Vickie) Coil, John (Sally) Coil, Patti (Alan) Rodabaugh,Jammie (Merita) Roop, and Shawn Roop; and an aunt, Joann Stinebaugh, of Wapakoneta.
A 1957 graduate of Buckland High School, Gale was a piano and organ player with the Mark IV Band in Lima. He was a member of the Musician Union.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Adrian Sunday officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will follow in the Buckland Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
