Nearly one year ago, Wapakoneta resident David Mollé was starting to become unhappy at his job at Walmart. A lifelong fan of comic books, he decided it was time to quit the job he had worked at for almost eight years to fulfill his dream of owning his own comic book store.

“After awhile I got tired of working for other people, and I said to myself, ‘you don’t know until you try it,’ so I went ahead and did it,” he said. “Everything seemed to fall into place and it wound up working out.”

In July, the 27-year-old Mollé will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the grand opening of The Fourth Wall comic shop on Auglaize Street in downtown Wapakoneta.
