June 12, 2014

Wittwer

Findlay City Schools Superintendent and Wapakoneta native Dean Wittwer said he is coming “full circle” as he prepares to leave his current position for a job in Lima — the same city where he began his career as an educator.

Wittwer, who served as Wapakoneta City Schools superintendent for 12 years before leaving for Findlay, began his career as an art teacher at Lima Shawnee High School in 1976.

On Aug. 1, Wittwer will take over as superintendent of the Allen County Educational Service Center in Lima, under a two-year contract.
