Florence C. Wireman, 78, of Wapakoneta, died at 2:10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at Wapakoneta Manor.
She was born Feb. 24, 1933, in Alger, the daughter of Nellie (Williams) and Harry Coppler, who preceded her in death. On March 3, 1949, she married John F. Wireman, who died Feb. 21, 2003.
Surviving are six sons, Curly Wireman, of Lima, Paul (Ronelda) Wireman, of Lima, Wayne (Kim) Wireman, of Lakeview, Billy (Katie) Wireman, of Buckland, Mark (Michelle) Wireman, of Wapakoneta, and Jeff Wireman, of Cridersville; four daughters, Gloria (Paul) Polutnik, of Lima, Polly (Russell) Metzger, of Wapakoneta, Rita Stombaugh, of Wapakoneta, and Melissa (Joe) Morgan, of Wapakoneta; a brother, George (Dianne) Coppler, of Lima; three sisters, Mary Davis, of Lima, Ethel Cira, of Lima, and Edith Green, of Cridersville; 29 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Karen Wireman, of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by four sons, Ronnie Wireman, Donald Wireman, Danny Wireman, and John Wireman; four brothers, Harry Coppler, Bud Coppler, Andy Coppler, and James Coppler; and three sisters, Pearl Crawford, Daisy Coppler, and Hannah Miller.
Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Home, Eastside Chapel, in Lima, with the Rev. Arnold Wright officiating. Burial is to follow at Preston Cemetery in Alger.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
