Elrea Terflinger, 85

Elrea C. Terflinger, 85, of Wapakoneta, died 4:20 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at her daughter’s residence.
She was born July 21, 1926, in Breathitt County, Ky., the daughter of Christena (Russell) and Blake Centers, who preceded her in death. She married William C. Terflinger, and he died July 21, 1995.
Surviving are a daughter, Debra Epperson, of Wapakoneta; a daughter-in-law, Kaye (David) Frantz, of Wapakoneta; a step-daughter, Janice M. (Rob) Henderson, of Cridersville; a step-daughter-in-law, Edna Terflinger, of Howe, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 13 great- great-grandchildren; a sister, Nell (Rogelio) David, of Live Oak, Fla.; and good friends Harry Grubb and family, of Wapakoneta,
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles “Chuck” Terflinger; a son-in-law, Ed Epperson; a step-son, James O. Terflinger; two sisters, Alma Luchini and Tisha Terry’ and an infant brother.
Elrea worked at the DWG Cigar Co. in Lima. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, shopping, fishing, and most especially spending time with family.
Services are at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Patrick Sloneker officiating. Burial will follow in the Shawnee Cemetery.
