Edith Jeanneret, 90

Edith V. ‘Edie’ Jeanneret, 90, of Wapakoneta, died at 10:14 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at the Lima Memorial Hospital emergency room.
She was born Dec. 11, 1922, in Elida, to Mathilda Miller and Cecil Keeling. On March 11, 1943, she married Rene’ Jeanneret Sr., and he preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1977.
Surviving are two sons, Doug (Sharon) Jeanneret, of Circleville, and René (Tammy) Jeanneret, of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Marsha (Ron) Evans, of Cincinnati, René (Tammy) Jeanneret, of Wapakoneta, and Debbie (Jeff) Jones, of West Chester; 11 grandchildren: Russell (Jessica) Jeanneret, Dustin (Becky) Jeanneret, Alexandria Jeanneret, William Jeanneret, Shaney Evans, Jessie Evans, Brianne (Matthew) Brown, Lindsay (John) Bayer, Kari Jones, Alex Jones, and Robin Jones; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Grace (Roger) Strauser, of Cridersville.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and seven brothers.
Mrs. Jeanneret had been a homemaker and a bus driver for the Wapakoneta School District.She attended Rousculp Church of Christ and was a member of the Wapakoneta Eagles. She was an avid bowler, mainly at Astro Lanes. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and was an avid bird watcher. She loved to prepare home-cooked meals and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rousculp Church of Christ, with the Rev. Kenny Rader officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
