Donald William Ickes, Sr., 53, 1122 Hager St., St. Marys, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St.Marys.
He was born Oct. 27, 1958, in Lima, the son of Helen Smart and John Phillip Ickes.
Surviving are his mother, Helen (Dale) Carlson, of Wapakoneta, three sons, Donald W. (Erica) Ickes, of Washington Crossing, Pa., Matthew Ickes, of St.Marys, and Brandon Ickes, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two daughters, Heather L. (Chad) Gibbs, of Williamsburg, Va., and Saleasha M. (Scott) Krogman, of Celina.
Services are at 7 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home & Cremation Services in St.Marys, with the Rev. Ed Ingraham officiating.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
