The Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible link between four residential burglaries reported near Waynesfield in the past week.

Sheriff Al Solomon said there was forced entry into each of the four homes, along with similar items taken, including jewelry and other valuables.

He said each burglary is believed to have occurred during daylight hours on Thursday, July 3.

The burglaries took place on 18205 Blank Pike, 18524 Gant Road, 15681 Akers Road, all of Waynesfield, and 24801 East Swartz Road, Wapakoneta, near Waynesfield.

“We’re looking into the possibility of them being connected,” Solomon said.

Solomon said he encourages anyone with information, including neighbors who have seen suspicious activities or vehicles, to contact the sheriff’s office.
