Cynthia Warnecke, 53

Cynthia S. “Cindy” Warnecke, 53, of Knox, Ind., formerly of Spencerville, died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis following a battle with leukemia since October of 2011.
She was born April 23, 1959, in Lima, the daughter of Janice R. (Burnfield) and Hubert E. “Herb” Warnecke. Her mother survives in Spencerville.
Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Spencerville United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Vince Lavieri officiating. Burial will follow at Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville or from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Contributions may be given to the Indiana University Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic.
