Craig O. Weaver, 68, of Wapakoneta died 7:18 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2012 at James Cancer Center, Columbus.
Mr. Weaver was born March 25, 1944 in Lima to Forrest E. and LeDonna M. Baber Weaver, who survive in Lima.
On Oct.17, 1964 he married Pamela J. Hardesty who survives in Wapakoneta.
Mr. Weaver graduated from Shawnee High School and Northwestern Business College. He was drafted into the Army in 1966 and received an honorable discharge in 1968. He then went to work in the print industry until he retired in 2008.
He was a member of Lima Baptist Temple where he worshiped God and served as a faithful usher.
He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, working on cars and going to car shows.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Tara (Kurt) Cooper of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Charity (Joseph) Tuller of Fort Myers, Fla., a son, Craig (Heather) Weaver, of Lima, one sister, Darle (Ted) Ragsdale of Rifle, Colo., eight grandchildren, Mackenzie Hostetler, Keaton Cooper, Max, Annie and Hope Weaver and Clair, Chase and Addie Tuller, his father and motherÂ·in-law Melvin and M. Lavonne Hardesty, of Cridersville, and four brothers-in law, Timothy (Erika) Hardesty, Dennis (Vickie) Hardesty, Mark (Vicki) Hardesty, and Thomas (Pati) Hardesty.
Funeral services will begin 11 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 at Lima Baptist Temple. Pastor Gary Hohman will officiate.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and one hour before services Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Missions Fund at Lima Baptist Temple.
