The Auglaize County Health Board is taking steps to move toward the accreditation required by 2018.
Auglaize County Health Commissioner Charlotte Parsons said they are working on the second step now, creating a Community Health Improvement Plan, which is expected to be finished in March.
“It’s part of the prerequisites for applying for accreditation,” Parsons said.
Health Board members made the first step toward accreditation last year when it completed a community health assessment.
For more information about the accreditation, see the Thursday, Nov. 14 edition of the Wapakoneta Daily News.
