Constance “Connie” Eberle, 77

Constance “Connie” Eberle, 77, of 1910 Heritage Court, Saint Marys, Ohio, died suddenly on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 26, 1937, in Bellefontaine, the daughter of Hod and Verna (Lamb) Naugle.

She married Cloyd Eberle on July 7, 1967, and he survives at the residence.

She is also survived by seven children: James (Sharon) Naugle, of Lima, Tonya (Ernest) Coldiron, of Saint Marys, Dorothy (Michael) Baker, of Saint Marys, Penny (Larry Crouse) Freytag, of Saint Marys, Jackie (Bobby) Henning, of Saint Marys, David (Karen) Eberle, of Lima, Michael (Jenny) Eberle, of Saint Marys. She is survived by 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a nephew, Mike Gibbs, of Rushylvania. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Deondra Eberle;  two sons, Albert M. Freytag, Jr. and Phillip Eberle; her siblings, Shirley Meiring, Dick Shoffner, Gene Shoffner and Jenny Gibbs.

Connie had been employed at the S and W Motel in Saint Marys for many years, and also the Valley Nursing Home in Saint Marys. She had volunteered for more than 20 years at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. She loved playing bingo and cards. Her family and grandchildren were the most important things in her life.

Graveside funeral rites will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Elm Grove Cemetery in Saint Marys, with Pastor Travis Keller as officiant. Memorial gifts may be given to Putnam County Hospice. Condolences may be sent to Connie’s family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
