Colista Kitchen, 68, 16244 State Route 66, St. Marys, died suddenly at 9 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 21, 1944, in Olive Hill, Ky., the daughter of Evelyn (Carpenter) and James Middleton. On March 28, 1964, in Olive Hill, Ky., she married Charles Gary Kitchen, and he survives at the residence.
Also surviving are three daughters, Penny Ashley, of Wyandott, Mich., Raberta Kitchen, of Wapakoneta, and Leslie Kitchen, of St. Marys; and a son, Garrett Stacy Kitchen, of St. Marys.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial is to be held at the Middleton Cemetery in Carter County, Ky.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the the funeral home.
Contributions may be given to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
