Challenge to report

Wapakoneta City Schools Superintendent Keith Horner says the district will accept the challenge set forth by state grade cards released this week and improve.

Still digesting the recently released state grade card and what the new letter grades mean, Wapakoneta Superintendent Keith Horner says district administrators and teachers “will accept this as a challenge to get better and to improve.”
“Basically, we are playing by a new set of rules for accountability and we have to figure out how to play by those new rules,” Horner told the Wapakoneta Daily News. “This is a first shot at looking and seeing what it will look like. There are some things here, quite honestly, that I don’t understand how they computed it.
