Carolyn Phillips, 60

Carolyn D. Phillips, 60, of Celina, died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1952, in Lima, the daughter of Helen (Benzing) and T.J. Roop, who survive in Wapakoneta. On Oct. 28, 1972, she married Russell Phillips, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are two sons, Marc Phillips, of Van Wert, and Ryan Phillips, of Continental; two daughters, Melissa Phillips, of Celina, and Heather Phillips, of Celina; a brother, Dennis (Theresa) Roop, of Cridersville; a father-in-law, Leonard Phillips, of Celina; and two sisters, Peg Mitchell, of Wapakoneta, and Barb (Jim) Smith, of Wapakoneta; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Benzing; and a sister, Beverly Roop.
She retired after 20 years of service at Huffy and Miller Textile in Wapakoneta. She was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Lodge in Celina, and was a member of many bowling leagues.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with the Rev. Tony Richmond officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
