Botkins tops Lehman Catholic, 178-192

The Botkins Trojans topped the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers, 178-192, in varsity boys golf action Monday at Shelby Oaks Golf Course in Sidney.

Roger Miller and Seth Hanna each paced Botkins with nine-hole rounds of 42. Josh Miller (46) and Alex Roberts (48) rounded out the Trojans’ scoring.

Lehman Catholic’s top score was also a 42, shot by Mitchell Shroyer.

Sam Dean followed for the Cavaliers with a 44. Zack Scott (52) and Bryce Eck (54) finished Lehman Catholic’s scoring.

The Trojans will continue their schedule with a Shelby County Athletic League match against Russia at 4 p.m. Thursday, to be played at Stillwater Valley Golf Club in Versailles.
