Botkins blanked by Bulldogs in district match

The Botkins Trojans saw their season end Tuesday after a 6-0 loss to the Yellow Springs Bulldogs.
The loss came in a Division III Southwest District boys soccer district semifinal.
Trojans goalkeeper Christian Hoskins had 18 saves Tuesday, giving him a single-season school record of 161 saves.
Hoskins previously set a school record for saves in a match with 21 in Botkins’ sectional championship against Miami East.
Yellow Springs had one player score three goals and assist on two others Tuesday.
The Trojans finished their season with a 6-8-3 record.
Yellow Springs advanced to a district championship to face Cincinnati Seven Hills, a 6-0 winner Tuesday over Reading.
