Chinese cram into displaced centres

Thousands of people displaced by the Sichuan earthquake are crammed in a sports centre in Mianyang. Rescue authorities said 3,629 had been confirmed dead in Mianyang city, which neighbours Wenchuan county, the epicentre of Monday's 7.9-magnitude quake. Most of the homeless escaped with only the clothes on their back.
