Thomas Allen Reichard, 69, of Casa Grande, Ariz., formerly a resident of Columbus Grove, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2009.
Thomas was born in Portland, Ind., on June 23, 1940, to Goldie (Robbins) and Clarence Reichard.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lavaughn Reichard and Russel Reichard; and one sister, Dorothy Upp.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Zobart Reichard; two daughters, Michelle Huebner and husband Rob Huebner of Wapakoneta, and Dixie Russell and husband Bill Russell of St. Mary’s; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; five nieces and three nephews; and one sister, Louise Corle of Portland, Ind.
He was a member of the Tri-State Gas Engine and Tractor Association, the NRA and UAW Union.
He retired from Ford Motor Company in 2004 as an electrician and first responder.
Thomas had a great love of antiques, fishing, and his family. He will be dearly missed for his great sense of humor and ornery ways.
Friends may visit at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, Ind., at 10 a.m. Monday, with burial following in Greenpark Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
