Beverly June Farmer, 75, of Wapakoneta, died at 10:40 a.m., Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at her sonâ€™s residence in Pres-cott, Ariz. She was born June 17, 1936, in Lima. She is the daughter of Kumah (Koneta Fast) and James E. Anspach. Both parents are deceased.
Ms. Farmer was a retired key punch operator with Lima Memorial Hospital. She was a former member of the Forest Park United Methodist Church and had belonged to the Shawnee Nation â€” United Remnant Band. She loved to travel and was an avid card player. She had a real zest for life and enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends.
She is survived by 3 sons; Michael (Jenny) Farmer, of Prescott, Ariz.; Taft (Cindy) Farmer III, of Prescott, Ariz. and Steven L. (Tracy) Farmer, of Lima; eight grandchildren, Michael Farmer Jr., Christopher Farmer, Chad Farmer, Jessica Farmer, Stephen Farmer, Justin Kitchen, Caleb Canchola, Tiffany Farmer; four great-grand children, Alexis Farmer, Lily Farmer, Jordon Edwards and Garett Hall; and two brothers, James D. (Lea) Anspach of Arivaca, Ariz.; and Dennis E. (Pat) Anspach of Seattle.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Ree Foreman; and a granddaughter, Kristen Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, with the Rev. Larry Hopkins officiating. Burial will be followed at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday. at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home.
