Betty Reichelderfer, 87

Betty J. Reichelderfer, 87, of Cridersville, died at 2:37 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at Cridersville Health Care.
She was born Feb. 14, 1924 in Wapakoneta, to Frances R. (Fricke) and Harry Benjamin. Both parents are deceased. On Jan. 19, 1946, she married Fred J. Reichelderfer, who survives in Cridersville.
Also surviving are a son, David F. (June) Reichelderfer, of Cridersville; a daughter, Cathy A. (David) Fritz, of Elmira, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Margie (Steve) Humes, of Waynesfield, Jeffery (Melanie) Reichelderfer, of Cridersville, Holly (Mike) Palao, of North Reading, Mass., and Julie (David) Sabbagh, of Salem, Mass.; six great -grandchildren, Evan Humes, Quinn Humes, Rylan Reichelderfer, Nolan and Kincaid Palao and Max Sabbagh.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: ,Richard, Milford, Eugene “Jim” and Urben; and a grandson, Benjamin David Fritz.
Betty had been a homemaker and worked for the U. S. Post Office as a clerk in Cridersville for 12 years. She was a member of Cridersville United Methodist Church where she had been treasurer, served on the memorial committee and a member of the Faith Circle. She was a member of the Wapak Senior Citizens, Cridersville Historical Society and Garden Club. She enjoyed square dancing and being part of a BUNCO Club.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville., with the Rev. Jerry Wiles officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Matthew Cemetery near Cridersville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home..
Contributions may be given to Cridersville United Methodist Church.
