Betty Lou Margraves Gossard, 74

Betty Lou Margraves Gossard, 74, of Lima, died at 11:27 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.  She was born Nov. 18, 1939, in Middlesboro, Ky. to William Wood and Mary Marie Janeway Margraves, who preceded her in death.  She married Glenn Earl Gossard on July 25, 1959, and he preceded her in death on March 22, 1993.

Betty had been a pharmacy tech at Deshers and CVS. She attended Holden Missionary Baptist Church and her family was her life.

Survivors include two sons,  Joseph D. (Kim Holliday) Gossard and Glenn E. (Angela) Gossard, Jr., both of Lima; three daughters,  Vickie (Edward) Crowe, Patricia (David) Fox, both of Lima, and Trina (John) Bond, of Harrod; 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; siblings,  Sue (Bill) Penland, of Lima, Mary Jo (Jr.) Howell, of Wapakoneta, Jane (Donald) Brown, of Cridersville, Mike Margraves, of Lima, Allen (Denise) Margraves, of Wapakoneta and sister-in-law Marcy Margraves, of Cridersville.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gwen Arlene Inmon, and three brothers,  Tom Margraves, Bruce Margraves and Gary Margraves.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, and a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Ellis Puckett officiating.
