Betty Hollenbacher, 86

Betty J. Hollenacher, 86, 3625 S. County Road 25A passed away at 1:06 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney.
She was born June 16, 1925, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of the late Violet (Crouch) and Lawrence Kohler. On Sept. 22, 1946, she married Roland E. Hollenbacher, who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1992.
She is survived by a son, David (Debra) Hollenbacher, of Sidney; a daughter, Carol (Larry)Strunk, of Troy; seven grandchildren, Brian Hollenbacher, Tara Amis, Bill Amis, Angela Robinson, Ed Robinson, Cory Strunk, and Allison Strunk; four great-grandchildren, Trenton Amis, Dylan Robinson, Hollen Robinson, and Graham Robinson; four brothers, Lawrence (Dottie)Kohler Jr., of Wapakoneta, Roy Kohler, of Wapakoneta, Ken (Hannah) Kohler, of Wapakoneta, Ron (Sue Ellen) Kohler, of Wapakoneta; and a sister in-law Susie Kohler, of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ed Kohler.
Betty was a homemaker, a 4-H and Girl Scout adviser, a member of the Orange Township Homemakers Club and a member of the St.Paul’s United Church of Christ.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Sidney, with the Rev. Dr. Bob McCann officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the church or Fair Haven County Home Activities Fund. Envelopes will be provided at the church.
