Betty Bowsher, 89

Betty M. Bowsher, 89, of rural Spencerville, died at 3:09 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima following a short illness.
She was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Amanda Township, Allen County, the daughter of Blanche M. (Coon) and Clarence H. Boyer. On June 23, 1944, she married Kenneth E. Bowsher, who died Feb. 21, 1984.
Surviving are three children, Terry E. Bowsher, of Spencerville, Shannon M. Kubinski, of Wapakoneta, and Linda S. Johnston, of Lima.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with the Revs. Phil Lee and Ron Boyer officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery east of Spencerville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. An Eastern Star Service will be held at 7:45 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Spencerville Ambulance Service.
