Bernard McCullough, 90 1/2

Bernard C. “Barney” McCullough, 90 ½ , of Wapakoneta, died at 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Shinbone, Auglaize County, the son of Olga (Schroer) and Bernard McCullough Sr., who preceded him in death. On Oct. 7, 1944, he married Margaret A. Carlone, and she died Nov. 28, 2009.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Chuck) Maurer, of Seattle; a grandson, Christopher Maurer, of Seattle; and a brother, William J. (Joan) McCullough, of Florida.
He was preceded in death by 4 siblings.
Barney retired from the Westinghouse Corporation in Lima after 30 years of service. He served in the Pacific Theater with the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Koran War.
Graveside services will be scheduled at a later date at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
There will be no public visitation.
Contributions may be given to the Grand Lake Hospice.
