Barber, Fisher, Graf elected

Two incumbents and one former councilor will return to represent Wapakoneta as councilors-at-large when they take the oath of office for their terms starting in January.
Councilor-at-large Dan Graf, who served two terms as 4th Ward councilor and the last term as a councilor-at-large, returns to his seat. He received the most votes with 721.
Councilor-at-large Randy Fisher, who was appointed in January to fill the unexpired term of former Councilor-at-large Steve Walter, wins his first term of office, and Rachel Barber, who served a term as a 4th Ward councilor starting in 2006, is returning this time to council as a councilor-at-large. Barber received the second highest total with 687 and Fisher came in third with 647.
Two-term Councilor-at-large Tom Finkelmeier Jr., the one-time mayoral candidate, finished fourth in Tuesday’s general election and will see his time in elected office come to an end at the end of December. Finkelmeier garnered 618 votes.
