Barbara A. Miller, 80, died at 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 25, 1931, in Lima, to Gwendolyn (Lesh) and Arthur Smith. On Sept. 17, 1954, she married Earl E. Miller and he preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 2012.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Edward (Susan) Miller, Rick Gene (Karen) Smith, Randal Eugene (Tonya) Miller, all of Harrod, and Kenneth Dale Miller, of Kenton; three daughters, Debra Darlene (Ted) Brookman, of Lima; Janet Eileen (Kenny) Metzger, of Lafayette, Greta Ann Miller (her live in caretaker), of Harrod; one brother, James E. Smith, of Lima; two sisters, Kathryn L. Ogle, of Kokomo, Ind., and Ida R. Smith, of Lima; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Kay Neeley; a grandson, David Miller; a great-grandson, Hunter Roesler; a great great-grandson, Jordon Blake Smith; a brother, Clifford D. Smith; and a sister, Dorothy Ervin.
Barbara had attended Grace Methodist Church, was a member of the DAV Chapter 77 Auxiliary, Ottawa, and the VFW Post 9381, of Ada. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield, with the Rev. Jean Horn officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery, Westminster.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
