Barbara Ann McCauley, 79

Barbara Ann McCauley, age 79, ofW apakoneta died 2:45 a. m., Tuesday, Sept. 4 at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 29, 1932 in Allen County Ohio to Merritt S. and Lucille J. HarruffMakin, who preceded her in death. She married S. Wayne McCauley on Oct. 10, 1953 and he preceded her in death March 2, 1995.
Mrs. McCauley was a member of First United Methodist Church of Wapakoneta and a homemaker. She collected dolls, and enjoyed playing dominoes and cards. She had been a past member ofKoneta Chapter #385 Order of Eastern Star, Elk Lodge #1170 Emblem Club and the Fraternal Order Eagles #691 Aerie Auxiliary. Barbara had a great appreciation for honesty and a loving heart.
Survivors include a son, Mark S. McCauley, of Spencerville, three daughters, Debra K. ‘Deb’ (Gary) White, ofWapakoneta, B. Diane (P. Lance) Ferry, of Lexington, Ky., and Darla M. McCauley, of Wapakoneta; three grandchildren, Jacqueline A. ‘Jackie’ (Dave Bisers) White, of Portland, Ore., W. Ryan Ferry, of Lexington, Ky., and Abigail ‘Abbey” M. Craine, ofWapakoneta; and a sister Nancy (Gary) Plate, of Valrico, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a brother Michael S. Makin.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital or OtterbeinCridersville.
Private graveside services will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
