Arthea G. ‘Kitty’ Ziegler, 77

Arthea G. ‘Kitty’ Ziegler, 77, of Summerville, Ga. and formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Redmond Regional Hospital. She was born April 26, 1937, in Lima, to the late Arthur Monroe and Grace Davidson Bowersock. She is preceded in death by three husbands, Gordon Rick, Bob Wells and Jan Ziegler.

Kitty had been a bookkeeper and owner of the family business, Ziegler Brothers. She previously worked for General Industries and Gaston & Brunk. She attended North Summerville Baptist Church and was a former member of Waynesfield United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four children, Gordon G. (May) Rick, of Fountain, Colo., Marie Jill Rick, of Wapakoneta, Susan Ann (Tim) Sidener, of Summerville, Ga., and Teresa (Gilbert) Coon, of Wapakoneta;  seven grandchildren,  Jordan (Kirsten) Rick, Samantha (Aaron) Rowland, Ginger (Josh) Dunklee, Laura (George) Marus, Dustin Coon, Dylan Coon and Matthew (Destiny) Sidener; five great-grandchildren,  Lucas Dunklee, Emily Dunklee, Aria Rick, TJ Marus and Addison Grace Rowland; and a brother, Tom (Nancy) Bowersock of Granville, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lt. Col. Kingston (Odessa) Winget.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 11, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville.

 The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Branch Cemetery, near Waynesfield.
