Alice May Bowersock, 73

Alice May Bowersock, 73, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born March 14, 1939, in Duchouquet Township, Auglaize County, the daughter of Anna Pearl (Frazier) and Harley Bowersock, who preceded her in death.
Survivors are three sisters, Violet M. Bowersock, of Wapakoneta, Freda A. Bowersock, of Wapakoneta, and Kathryn P. Daugherty, of Kalida; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bowersock, of Wapakoneta, Juanita Bowersock, of Lima, and Barbara Bowersock, of Lima; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Dyle Bowersock, Roy Bowersock, Ray Bowersock, Carl Bowersock, Harvey Bowersock, and Shirley Bowersock; and two infant brothers, Clarence Bowersock and Bernard Bowersock.
Alice May was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Wapakoneta. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, coloring, and all kinds of animals.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Nazarene in Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Ward Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery near Cridersville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Contributions may be directed to Nazarene Missions, the Activity Fund or Therapy Dept. at Wapakoneta Manor, or M.O.M.S. Team at Relay for Life.
