Alan Kah, 84

Alan F. “Fritz” Kah 84, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:53 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born March 25, 1927, in Wapakoneta, to Ethel (Phenning) and Adrian C. Kah, who preceded him death. On Oct. 7, 1950 he married H. Yvonne Littman, who survives in Wapakoneta.
He is also survived by two sons, Steven (Mary) Kah and Eric (Pam) Kah; a daughter, Ellen (Ken) Nord; two grandchildren, Jenny Gutierrez and Linda (John) Meyer; and two sisters, Marcia Hays and Kathryn Dunnavant.
He was a 1945 graduate of Blume High School. He served a short time in the U.S. Army at the end of World War II. He was a lifelong farmer and member of St. Paul U.C.C. in Wapakoneta. He was also a member of the Moulton Gun Club. He enjoyed antique tractors and especially enjoyed genealogy.
Services are at 3 p.m. Saturday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Dr. Alex Gondola officiating. A private family burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize County Crippled Children and Adults or to the donor’s choice.
