Administrator candidate list narrowed to three

July 14, 2014

BOTKINS — In the search for a new village administrator, Botkins council has narrowed the list down to three candidates.

Current village administrator Jesse Kent announced his resignation in May because of a desire to move to Sacramento, Calif., and be closer to family. Kent continues to work alongside the council and mayor to vet and interview candidates.

The three candidates remaining are Devon Alexander, of Sidney; Tim Davis, of Troy; and Ryan Piche, of Albany, N.Y. Alexander grew up in Shelby County and is currently employed by the City of Piqua as the Storm Water Coordinator.
