Gary L. McCoy Sr., 64, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Lima Manor.
He was born Oct. 27, 1947, in Canton, Ill., the son of Betty Jo (Hukill) and Richard McCoy, who preceded him in death.
On Aug. 28, 1972, he married Judy L. McBeth, who survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are two sons, Craig McCoy and Richard McCoy; a daughter, Michelle Schrober; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Karen Jo Reed and Kathy Blumenstein.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gary McCoy Jr., and a brother,, Michael McCoy.
Rebecca Suzanne ‚ÄúBecky‚ÄĚ Mosler, 65, was called home by the Lord at 9:28 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at her residence. Her husband and children were at her side as she peacefully departed after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Becky was born Aug. 19, 1947, in Lima, the daughter of Mary Louise (Gehrlich) and Elmer Neumeier. Her father preceded her in death. On Aug. 20, 1966, she married the love of her life, Thomas J. Mosler, who survives.

A city administrator plans to examine the parking situation near Max’s Dairy Bar to ensure proper traffic flow at the intersection of East Benton and Bellefontaine streets.
Wapakoneta resident Paul Janning brought the parking issue to Wapakoneta City Council’s attention during Wednesday’s meeting. He presented two photographs showing no curb markings or yellow paint, which is typically used to indicate a no parking area, on the curb along the north side of East Benton Street, and one showing traffic congestion.

Donald L. ‚ÄôDonnie‚Äô Fisher, 66, of Wapakoneta, died Sept. 5, 2012, at St. Rita‚Äôs Medical Center in Lima from complications following a stroke on May 27, 2012.
He was born Dec. 31, 1945, in Lima, the son of Hilda (Eisert) and Clem Fisher, who preceded him in death. On Nov. 23, 1968, he married Pam Opperman, and she survives.
After last Friday’s football loss to the Elida Bulldogs, Wapakoneta Redskins varsity head coach Doug Frye used “unacceptable” profanity while addressing his team in the locker room, sources say, resulting in the team’s offensive coordinator resigning and at least six players leaving the team.
For his conduct, Wapakoneta City Schools administrators on Wednesday reprimanded Frye.
The Redskins hit the links Wednesday afternoon, and took a one-stroke win back into the clubhouse.
Led by senior Caleb Acheson, who carded a 36 on the afternoon, Wapakoneta was able to defeat Greenville, 163-164.
Varsity head coach Kenny Wayman said he was happy to get the win, but he needs to see improvement, especially heading into the heart of league play.
Richard V. ‚ÄėDick‚Äô Shaw, age 92, of Cridersville died 9:40 a. m., Tuesday, Sept. 4 at St. Rita‚Äôs Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 16, 1920 in Cridersville to Edith M. (Shaffer) Shaw and Cloyd F. Shaw who preceded him in death.
Mr. Shaw graduated from Cridersville High School in 1938. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He retired from St. Rita‚Äôs Medical Center Patient Accounts Office in 1985. He was a member of Cridersville United Methodist Church, the Cridersville Historical Society, the Lawrence Valley Grange and V. F. W. Post 8445.
Barbara Ann McCauley, age 79, ofW apakoneta died 2:45 a. m., Tuesday, Sept. 4 at St. Rita‚Äôs Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 29, 1932 in Allen County Ohio to Merritt S. and Lucille J. HarruffMakin, who preceded her in death. She married S. Wayne McCauley on Oct. 10, 1953 and he preceded her in death March 2, 1995.
