Six combine to shut down Crestview

June 13, 2014

Wapakoneta sent six different pitchers to the mound, and, collectively, they shut down Crestview in a 4-1 win Thursday in ACME baseball action at Wapakoneta High School.

The hosts’ pitchers allowed three hits and five baserunners in Crestview’s seven at-bats, and Wapakoneta relied on a four-run third for its offense.

Wapakoneta was needing to get certain pitchers some work heading into its tournament in Defiance starting Saturday.
