Redskins rally to beat Commodores

May 6, 2014

Zach Golliday led the charge on the mound as the Wapakoneta Redskins rallied to defeat the Perry Commodores, 10-4, in a non-league varsity baseball contest at Wapakoneta High School.

Wapak trailed 4-1 after Perry’s at-bat in the third inning, during which Golliday entered the game. Nate Schroer started on the mound for the Redskins, but the Commodores were able to figure him out quickly.

Golliday and the Redskins held Perry scoreless the rest of the game while the offense steadied itself.
