Amid the rainy conditions and mud-soaked field, Wapakoneta Redskins senior running back Zach Schmerge ran for all three of his team’s touchdowns in the first half Friday.
The Redskins recorded a 21-0 victory over the Bath Wildcats in Western Buckeye League varsity football action in Lima.
Schmerge accounted for 177 yards on 34 carries Friday, leading the Redskins’ rushing attack, which sits atop the WBL.
