INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. â Two new rules regarding the use of electronic devices in high school softball were among the five changes approved by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Softball Rules Committee at its June 10â12 meeting in Indianapolis. All rules changes were subsequently approved by the NFHS Board of Directors.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association abides by NFHS rules.
BLUFFTON â The Wapakoneta Waves will be headed to Bluffton Community Pool on Friday and Saturday to compete in the two-day Elks Invitational and Western Ohio Aquatic League (WOAL) Championships.
Approximately 600 youth, from kindergarten through graduation high school seniors, will be participating, from area pools including Sherwood Park Community Club, Westside, Shawnee Country Club, Wapakoneta, Bluffton, Ada, Lost Creek and Kenton.
With upward of 100 swimmers, Wapakâs depth has translated into success historically.
