SHAWNEE — Wapakoneta ACME did not have the type of start they wanted to have during an important week of baseball.

The Shawnee ACME team bested Wapakoneta, 9-2, on Monday, as they each prepare for tournament action this weekend.

Wapakoneta will host Minster at 6:30 p.m. today in a battle for the sectional tournament’s first seed, in the second of five straight games in as many days this week.

The loss on Monday drops Wapakoneta to 9-6 overall on the summer season, while the win moves Shawnee to 11-3 this summer.
