LIMA — The Wapakoneta ACME team flexed its muscles in the first game of a doubleheader as they run-ruled the Bath ACME team, but a seventh-inning rally in the second game fell short as the two teams split a doubleheader on Saturday.

The split left Wapak with a 9-5 record on the season, while the Wildcats moved to 8-2 on the summer schedule.

The Redskins wasted no time in taking control of the first game, sending 14 batters to the plate and scoring nine runs in the top of first inning.
