It’s homecoming for the Redskins, and Wapakoneta varsity head coach Doug Frye says his boys will have a tougher than usual test Friday night.
“In my time in the Western Buckeye League, 15 years now, this is the best team I’ve seen at Ottawa-Glandorf,” Frye said.
Ottawa-Glandorf has averaged 49.2 points per game on offense and its defense has allowed only 16.6 points per game through the first half of the season.
ST. MARYS — The Wapakoneta Redskins suffered two losses in Tuesday’s game against the St. Marys Roughriders.
The ‘Skins lost the game, 4-0, and in a scary moment in the first half, lost their goalie, Matt Ewing to injury.
St. Marys forward Dylan Zink was charging a ball in the box, and Ewing ran toward the ball, attempting to make the save.
