Minster and Wapakoneta will play tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Minster.
ROCKFORD — The Wapakoneta Junior ACME team opened district play with a 6-2 win over St. Henry Monday.
Wapakoneta broke open the scoring in the top of the first when Logan Martin drew a leadoff walk and stole second base. Quinn Lotridge singled and got caught in an intentional rundown between first and second, allowing Martin to score.
Jarrett Koch and Martin put together successive RBI doubles in the third inning to stretch the lead to 3-0.
Wapakoneta Redskins Junior ACME sophomore pitcher Quinn Lotridge overcame a 5-run second inning as his teammates rallied to beat the Coldwater Cavaliers Junior ACME team 11-7 Sunday night in Rockford.
