It has been two months since the Wapakoneta Redskins scrimmaged the Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes.
A lot has changed since then. Thursday, both teams will find out just how much when they meet in a Division II district semifinal at 2 p.m. at Bluffton University.
Monday, the Redskins rolled in their final tuneup before that game, defeating the Riverside Pirates 10-0 in six innings in a game added to the schedule at the last minute.
ANNA — The Botkins Trojans varsity girls track team finished third at the Shelby County League meet Friday at Anna.
Botkins scored 112 points, eight points back of a runner-up finish.
Russia won the county title with 174 points. Fort-Loramie was second with 120.
For Botkins, Brittany Bailey was the SCL champion in the 400 run with a time of 1:01.25.
Bailey also placed second in the 800 run at 2:21.73 and fourth in the 1,600 run at 5:23.8.
