Michael Rosebrock scored nine unanswered points in a 12-0 third-quarter run to lift the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans to a 52-34 win over the Wapakoneta Redskins in a Western Buckeye League varsity boys basketball game Friday night at Wapakoneta High School.
With the score tied at 22-22 early in the second half, Rosebrook broke loose cutting to the basket, grabbing a pair of field goals and converting five of six from the free throw line to make it a 31-22 Titans lead midway through the third quarter.
BOTKINS — The 12-2 Russia Raiders’ slid by with a close 60-59 victory over the Botkins Trojans in Shelby County League action Friday night at Botkins High School.
The Trojans took a 44-39 lead into the fourth quarter, but the Raiders were not about to give up anything. Raising its level of intensity on defense, Russia managed to force a few much-needed turnovers late in the quarter to pull out the win.
