COLUMBUS â Waynesfield-Goshen junior Ivy Horn is used to being at the front of the pack.
And after three straight trips to the Division III state track meet, sheâs used to sharing the front with some familiar faces â Rittmanâs Crystal Barber and Sidney Lehmanâs Gretchen Walter.
Horn finished second in the 100 dash on Saturday with a time of 12.48, just .06 behind Walter and .01 ahead of Barber.
Then in the 200, she finished third with a 25.81 behind Barber (25.44) and Walter (25.64).
âI knew it was going to be me, Gretchen and Crystal up there,â Horn said.

COLUMBUS â The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers track team had a solid day on the first day of the Division III state track meet Friday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus.
The girls team scored its first points of the meet in the field-event finals thanks to a strong performance by senior Abbey Gray in the long jump.
Junior Ivy Horn advanced to the finals in three events but suffered a disappointing result in her fourth event.
And the boys team exceeded expectations, but came up short of placing in the finals of its two events.
In this Oct. 22, 2010 file photo, Wapakoneta Redskins linebacker Zach Ferenbaugh (33) tackles Kenton Wildcatsâ Kieran Fetter (11) as Wapakâs Royce Kantner (29) comes up on the play. Ferenbaugh and Kantner are two of seven Redskins players selected to play in the WBL vs. MAC/NWC All-Star Game on June 10 at Van Wert High School. They will be joined by Maverick Liles, Logan Erb, Cale Tabler, Alex Parker and Trevor Raines. Wapak and Kenton tied for the most players selected for the game.

WAYNESFIELD â By now the journey to Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus has become a familiar one for the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers.
They will make that trek once again for the Division III state track and field meet Friday and Saturday on the campus of the Ohio State University.
And if all goes well, theyâll be bringing some hardware home with them.
W-Gâs best bet for a state champion is the girls 400-meter relay team of senior Abbey Gray, junior Morgan Horn, senior Frankie James and junior Ivy Horn.
Wapakoneta opened the 2011 ACME season with a win, edging Indian Lake 3-1 on Wednesday at Wapakoneta High School.
â[Y]ou could tell some of these guys have not played for a couple of weeks,â Wapak coach Nick Sammetinger said. âI am happy with the performance but will continue to challenge each player to improve every day.â
Marshall Gerlach threw a complete-game, five-hitter for the win. Gerlach threw just 89 pitches, 67 of them for strikes.
He struck out 14 and walked just two. He allowed just one run, an unearned run in the seventh inning.
