WAYNESFIELD — The first win of the season for the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers also was the 100th victory for Ted Patton as the varsity coach of the girls basketball team.
The Tigers grabbed an early lead and continued to build on the score as they defeated the Vanlue Wildcats, 66-38.
The night proved to be made more special as Patton reached the milestone with the Tigers in front of a home crowd as Patton celebrated his victory with his team and friends after the game. Patton has more career wins since he also coached the varsity girls basketball team at Perry High School.
