Gary A. Smith, 69, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:17 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at his residence.
He was born July 5, 1943, in Champagne County, the son of Parthenia and Alden Smith, who preceded him in death. On June 4, 1965, he married Linda C. Sparks, and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Brenda (Ernie) Nuesmeyer, of Lima; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Dakota, Austin, Devon, Victor, Allison, and Hayley; a brother, Wayne (Pat) Smith, of Michigan; two sisters, Kay (Ed) Coffey, of South Carolina, and Priscilla (Ron) Goodwin, of Michigan.
Robert C. âBobâ Krites, 80, of Cridersville, died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta.
He was born July 29, 1932, in Logan Township, Auglaize County, to Cecelia (Taylor) and Virgil Talmadge Krites. Both parents are deceased. On March 11, 1951, he married Virginia Marie âGinnyâ Stevenson, who died April 7, 2012.
Leo A. Mackesy, 91, of Lakeview, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday evening, August 23, 2012.
He was born on July 9, 1921, in Oilsprings, Ontario, Canada, to the late Alice Nelson and William Mackesy.
He also was preceded in death by two sons, Billy and Donny; two grandsons, Timothy J. and Donald W.; five sisters, Margaret, Dora, Kate, Mary and Ann; and six brothers, Bill, Tom, Jim, Jack, Pat and Frank.
Robert âRedâ Katterhenry, 86, of Wapakoneta, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012.

Jamie Lynn Rammel, 27, of Celina, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Mercer County Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born Dec. 10, 1984, in Coldwater, the daughter of Dona J. (Goodwin) Kaler and Richard âRalf Rammel. Her mother and step-father, Paul Kaler, survivie in Camp Hill, Pa. Her father survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a son, Brandon Hemmelgarn, of Celina; and two daughters, Lillian Hemmelgarn, of Celina, and Taylor Hemmelgarn, of Celina.
She was preceded in death by an infant child, âJunior.â
Nettie M. Davis, 92, of Vandalia, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Otterbein-Cridersville.
She was born July 28, 1920, in Logan County, the daughter of Martha (Giberson) and Frank Walters, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 8, 1939, she married Floyd L. Davis, and he died July 5, 2008.
Nettie M. Davis, 92, of Vandalia, formerly of Wapakoneta, died Tuesday evening, Aug. 21, 2012, at Otterbein-Cridersville.

Linda A. Petty, 69, of Wapakoneta, and formerly of Carthage, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born March 23, 1943, in Dayton, to Helen (Althouse) and Richard Longenecker. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Sidney. On Feb. 20, 1962, she married Tony D. Petty, and he survives in Wapakoneta.
Leo S. Steinke, 90, died at 3:43 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, 3003 W. Cisco Road, Sidney.
He was born March 2, 1922, in Fryburg, the son of Cecelia (Frankenberg) and Ferd Steinke, who are deceased. On Nov. 20, 1946, he married Mary Catherine Dunn on November 20, 1946, and she passed away in 1991.
Linda A. Petty, 69, of Wapakoneta, formerly of Carthage, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
