Shirley A. Bonnoront, 86, of Wapakoneta, died Sunday morning, April 13, 2014, at Auglaize Acres.  She was born Nov. 13, 1927, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of Howard and Alethia (Elliott) Bonnoront, who preceded her in death.  

Survivors include, cousins, Mary Dee (Donald) Malueg, of Wapakoneta, Steven (Lisa) Malueg, of Lima, Rebecca (Greg) Ott, of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Sheri (Mike) Toth, of Pickerington.

Loren A. Cox, 84

Loren A. Cox, 84, of Ridgeway, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, in Kenton.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1930, in Huntsville, a son of the late Kenneth T. and Emma Belle (Barr) Cox.  On Feb. 11, 1950, he married his first wife, Dorothy Lay, and they divorced. He then married his second wife, the former Eileen Lenore Epps on Nov. 25, 1978, and she preceded him in death on May 15, 2009.  Also preceding him in death were a sister, Ann Docie and brothers, Paul L. and Leonard Cox.

Robert D. Lee, 72

Robert D. Lee, 72, of Jackson Center, died at 5:09 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2014, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, in Lima. He was born Oct. 9, 1941, in Spencerville, the son of Dean and Thelma (South) Lee, who preceded him in death. On Nov. 27, 1965, he married Grace A. Shepard, and she died Nov. 18, 1997.

Thomas Jerome (Jerry) Carr, 72

April 7, 2014

Thomas Jerome (Jerry) Carr passed away March 28, 2014, after a battle with lung cancer. Born on May 11, 1941 to John and Mary (Mason) Carr in Roanoke, Va., he grew up in Wapakoneta, attended St. Joseph Elementary and High School, St. Joseph College and Wright State University. Jerry served in the security service with the USAF, stationed in Okinawa.

Mike E. Cope, 57

April 3, 2014

Mike E. Cope, 57, of Cridersville, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 30, 1956, in Lima, to Daniel H. and Icie Irene Fickle Cope, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Cope was a member of VFW Post 1275 and American Legion Post 96.  He served in both the U.S. Army and Navy.

Steve A. Rowe, 58

Steve A. Rowe, 58, of New Knoxville, died at 2:10 p.m., March 31, 2014, at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, in St. Marys. He was born Oct. 22, 1955, the son of Thomas R. Rowe and Chessie (Webb) Bennett. His father is deceased and his mother survives in Beauford, S.C. On Sept. 30, 2008, he married Linda Shaner, who survives.

Robert "Bob" Joseph Jennings, 80

Robert "Bob" Joseph Jennings, 80, passed away on March 30, 2014, at 1 a.m. peacefully at his residence. Robert  was born on March 24, 1934, in Lima, to Raymond and Mary "Mayme" (Dahill) Jennings, who preceded him in death. On  June 29, 1957, he married Joan E.Kohler Jennings who survives in Lima.    
 

Frederick D. “Fred” Egbert, 72

Frederick D. “Fred” Egbert, 72, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014, at his residence. He was born Feb. 25, 1942, in Findlay, the son of William D. and Mary (Shafer) Egbert, who preceded him in death. On April 15, 1977, he married LouAnn Bradford, and she survives.

Ned A. Mowery, 85

Ned A. Mowery, 85, of Cridersville, died at 9:50 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014, at his residence. He was born on Feb. 26, 1929, to Ruhie Edward and Margaret ‘Dutch’ Viola Baumgardner Mowery. Both parents preceded him in death. On May 12, 1950, he married Jeanne Ann Harshe, who survives in Cridersville.

Roxy Vogan, 74

Roxy Vogan, 74, of 1712 Kingsbury Drive, Saint  Marys, died at 8:19 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the Celina Manor Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 20, 1939, in Saint Marys, the daughter of Paul and Violet (Williams) Rieger.

She is survived by her two children, Jim (Freda) Vogan, of Lexington, Tenn., and Lani (Steve) Byrley, of Celina; four granddaughters, Carrie Vogan, Lisa Vogan, Amy (Samuel) Bell and Traci Byrley; and a great-granddaughter, Braylee Bell.

She is also survived by her siblings, Paul Rieger, of Saint Marys, and Denise Kohler, of Wapakoneta.
