Paul J. Kabana, 73, of Lima, died at 11:28 a.m. Sunday, June 6, 2011, at his residence.

Rita Meinerding, 88, 815 Heather Dr., St. Marys, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at her residence.

Lois Ann Brown, 76 of Wapakoneta, crossed the gates of heaven 3:42 a.m., Friday, June 3 at St. Ritaâ€™s Medical Center. She was born Jan. 9, 1935 in Wapakoneta to Raymond Joseph and Alma Louise Wortman Reineke.
Mrs. Brown was a member of St. Markâ€™s Lutheran Church and the Eagles Lodge Aerie 691 Auxiliary. She had been a supervisor at Superior Metal Products and loved gardening, dancing, being with family and going to church.
Robert E. Miars, 80, 1022 Edwards St., St. Marys, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the St. Marys Living Center.
He was born Nov. 13, 1930, the son of Emma (Rohrbach) and Vernon O. Miars.
He is survived by a son, Thomas E. (Deborah) Miars of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and two daughters, Susan A. (Kenneth) Davis, and Linda A. (John) Klosterman, all of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steven E. Miars.
A private family burial will take place at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Lois Brown, 76, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:42 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at St. Ritaâ€™s Medical Center in Lima.

Catherine â€śCathyâ€ť Bontrager, 67, of Middlebury, Ind., died at 2:39 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at IU Health Goshen Hospital in Goshen, Ind.
She was born March 23, 1944, in St. Marys, the daughter of Agnes (Schweizer) and Victor Gehrlich. On April 4, 1964, in Fryburg, she married Gene L. Bontrager, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Theodore Bontrager and Todd Bontrager, both of Middlebury, Ind.; and a daughter, Patricia Smith of Garrett, Ind.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Episcopal Cemetery in Bristol, Ind.
John M. â€śJackâ€ť Lunz, 75, 302 Columbia St., St. Marys, died at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 13, 1935, in Dayton, the son of Cora (Myers) and Alvin E. Lunz. On Sept. 22, 1961, he married Sally Silvers, and she survives at the residence.
He is survived by two sons, John E. (Jennifer) Lunz, and David (Melissa) Lunz, all of St. Marys.
Services are at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Charles Richtmyer officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Dean A. Brewer, 71, 712 W. North St., St. Marys, died at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at St. Ritaâ€™s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Sept. 28, 1939, in Sneedville, Tenn., the son of Dora (Mathis) and Huston Brewer. On Dec. 10, 1957, he married Ethel Mullins, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David (Julia) Brewer, and Jarrod (Carmen) Brewer, both of St. Marys; and two daughters, Robin Brewer and Debbie (Dale) Ball, both of St. Marys.
Dorothy Jean Breneman, 84, of Wapakoneta, passed away the morning of May 30, 2011, at her residence.
S h e was born May 14, 1 9 2 7 , in Hardin County, the daughter of Olevia (Johnson) and Artie Gossard. Both parents are deceased. On Jan.1, 1949, she married Victor L. Breneman who preceded her in death April 30, 2001.
Larose B. Gossette, 89, of New Bremen, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2011, at the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born on April 19, 1922, near New Bremen, the daughter of Bertha (Poppe) and Dicke.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Gossette of Reno, Nev., David (Alice) Gossette of New Bremen; and two daughters, Ann (Bernd) Graf of San Jose, Calif., and Susan (Thomas) Rengers of New Bremen.
Services are at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen.
