Betty L. Schroer, 88, 519 Westhaven Drive, New Bremen, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center in Minster.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1923, in St. Marys, the daughter of Malinda (Gieseke) and Virgil Horn. On Sept. 25, 1955, she married Curtis Schroer who survives in New Bremen.
Also surviving are a son, Dwight Schroer, of New Bremen; and a daughter, Kathleen Aufderhaar, of Bluffton.
Services are at 2 p.m. Friday at German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen, with the Rev. Stephen Wills officiating.
Carl R. â€śDickâ€ť Heil, 92, of Cridersville, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 12:20 a.m., Thursday Aug. 11, 2011, at Otterbein Cridersville.
Arrangements are incomplete at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.
Theresa Jane â€śTessâ€ť Neal, 59, died at 3:12 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at her home in Waynesfield.

Sandra K. â€śKatieâ€ť Phillips died at 5:20 a.m., Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at St. Ritaâ€™s Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Jan. 18, 1944, in Wapakoneta to Violet (Grothaus) and Eugene â€śRedâ€ť Dill who preceded her in death. On Feb. 22, 1964, she married William I. Phillips who survives in St. Johns.
Arthur D. Pursley, 76, of Madison, died 5:20 p.m., Monday, July 25, 2011, at Madison Health Care. He was born Feb. 24, 1935 in Lima, to Rose Ethel (Hatcher) and Lorenzo Dow Pursley. Both parents are deceased.
Mr. Pursley retired from the U. S. Air Force and had worked for NAS.
Survivors include one brother, Jim (Nadean) Pursley, of Vista, Calif., and a sister, Cecilia Hicks, of Forest.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Leonard and Benie Pursley; and sisters, Elsie Secor, Viola Stough, Jane Pursley Hoyt, Mary Louise Pursley and Betty Painter.
Eleanor Sprague, 97, of Cridersville, formerly of Lima and Fort Myers, Fla., died at 9:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at Otterbein-Cridersville.
She was born June 6, 1914, in Lima, the daughter of Frances M. (Baker) and Earl Marshall. On July 30, 1932, she married Floyd H. Sprague and he died March 4, 2002.
Surviving is a son, Larry E. Sprague, of Lima.
Services are at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Otterbein-Cridersville community room, the Rev. Phyllis Fetzer officiating..

Norma K. Sensabaugh Garn, 69, of Wapakoneta, and formerly of Spencerville and Erie, Pa., died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home in Wapakoneta, where she had resided since April 1.
She was born Oct. 8, 1941, in Sardinia, the daughter of Joy (Stotler) and Normal â€śPopeyeâ€ť Sensabaugh, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 20, 1979, she married Kaye Garn and he died June 23, 1997.
Mildred Margaret â€śMillieâ€ť Rayburn Porter Craft, 87, of Wapakoneta, died Sunday, July 31, 2011, at her residence of natural causes.
She was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Clark Co., the daughter of Florence Margaret (Pilcher) and John Charles Rayburn, Sr., who preceded her in death. On Aug. 1, 1942, she married Harold Russell Porter, Sr., and he died in Feb. 1951. Then in Oct. 1955, she married Frederick Andrew Craft, and he died in Aug. 2005.

Jack J. Emrick, 45, of Wapakoneta, died at 1:25 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Lima Memorial Health System emergency room from injuries sustained in an accident at his home site near Wapakoneta.
He was born Feb. 7, 1966, in Lima, the son of Ruth (Thuman) and James Walker Emrick. His mother survives in Wapakoneta, and his father died April 19, 2011. He is also survived by his partner Lisa Bowman.
