Mark C. Johns, 42, of Wapakoneta, died Monday, July 25, 2011, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born December 28, 1968 in Lima, the son of Lela R. (Myers) and Charles P. Johns, who survive in Lima. On May 30, 2003 he married Kimberly Gross, who survives in Wapakoneta.
Surviving are two sons Matthew Johns and Zacharia Johns, both of Wapakoneta; and two sisters, Bonnie (Mark) McNamara, of Lima, Tammie (Bob) Hursh of Bluffton; a brother, Scott R. (Jennifer) Johns of Newcomerstown; and multiple nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
Irma E. Taylor, 89, 1014 Williams Street, St. Marys, died at 1:25 p.m. Saturday July 23, 2011, at her residence.
She was born July 21, 1922, in Sidney, to Elizabeth (Hausfeld) and Bernard Tebbe. On Oct. 14, 1950, she married James M. Taylor, who died June 29, 1987.
Surviving are a son, Curtis J. (Christa) Taylor, of St. Marys; and a daughter Rene (Don) Hicks, of St. Marys.
A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, with the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Robert E. Evans, 90, of Lima, died at 10:05 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Lima.
He was born May 13, 1921, in Lima, the son of Carrie (Phillips) and William Evans, who are both deceased.
Irma Taylor, 89, of St. Marys, died Saturday, July 23, 2011, at her residence.
Arrangements are incomplete at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Beatrice C. Young, 95, formerly of 323 S. Walnut St., New Bremen, died at 8:54 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011, at the Otterbein of St. Marys.
She was born on October 31, 1915, in Yellow Springs, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. C. Harold Clerke.
On Sept. 22, 1938, she married S. Chester Young and he died on Oct. 1, 1982.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas (Cindy) Young, of Erlanger, Ky., and William (Cindy) Young, of New Bremen; and a daughter, Beatrice Ann Young of Valdez, Ark.
Coleen J. Graham, 55, of Lima, died at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.
She was born March 19, 1956, in Lima, the daughter of Joan (Bryan) and John Bruin. She was formerly married to Stephen J. Grothjan and Daniel J. Graham.
Surviving are three sons, Jason Grothjan, of Michigan City, Ind., Bryan Graham, of Lima, and Brandon Graham, of Lima.
Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Johnâ€™s Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery.
Jeffrey D. Evans, 48, died at 1:10 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011.
He was born July 6, 1963, the son of Dit Evans Jr. and Janice C. Vroft. His father survives in Bronson, Ky. and his mother survives in Spencerville.
Services are at 1 p.m.. Thursday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville. Burial will follow at Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to his sister, Sheri Evans, for a donation to be decided at a later date.
John Hilty, 93, died Saturday, July 23, 2011, at his home.
He was born April 5, 1918, in Allen County, Amanda Township, the son of Alvina (Basinger) and John Hilty. He married Doris June Burnfield, who is deceased.
He is survived by a son, David Dee (Cheryl) Hilty, of Plymouth, Ind.; and a daughter, Dorothy Alice (Jim) Hilty May, of Columbus.
Services are at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with the Rev. Kermit Welty officiating. Burial will follow at Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
John Edward Link, 84, of Lima, died 1:25 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2011, at Springview Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 7, 1926, in Wapakoneta, the son of Dorothy Marie (Kuhn) and Edward George Link, who preceded him in death. On April 28, 1948 he married Audrey M. Fisher and she died on Nov. 18, 2004.
Timothy L. Siemer, 45, 410 S. Ash St., St. Marys, died at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at James Cancer Center in Columbus.
He was born July 29, 1965, in Lima, the son of Darlene (Burnett) and Ned Siemer. On March 18, 1993, he married Jammie Weiler, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, D.J. (Lindsey) Lindeman, of St. Marys, Timothy â€śT.J.â€ť Siemer, of Lima; and two daughters, Nikki (Bryan) Neargarder, of St. Marys, and Shana Foust of St. Marys.
